Bradford Renaissance

Renaissance Criteria

Level One Requirements

•  3.5-4.0 un-weighted GPA
•  4 or fewer excused absences
•  no disciplinary referrals
•  no truancies or unexcused absences, including
• advisory
•  no “hall sweeps”
•  no failures

Rewards

•  A medal will be issued each Renaissance year level one status is achieved:

1st year- bronze
2nd year- brass
3rd year- silver
4th year- gold

Academic letters (large academic B) will be awarded upon achieving level one status,      quarterly, for the 4 th time. Only one large B can be received throughout a student's high school career.

•  Renaissance reception
•  Entry into a drawing for a Renaissance monthly parking space
•  Stars will be received for an un-weighted 4.0 GPA

Level Two Requirements

•  3.0-3.499 un-weighted GPA
•  5 or fewer excused absences
•  no disciplinary referrals
•  no truancies or unexcused absences, including
•  advisory
•  no “hall sweeps”
•  no failures

Reward

•  Academic letter (little academic B). Only one little B can be received throughout a student's high school career.

•  Renaissance reception

Level Three Requirements

•  2.5-2.999 un-weighted GPA, 0.5 GPA improvement, or perfect attendance for a quarter
•  no disciplinary referrals
•  no truancies or unexcused absences, including
• advisory
•  no “hall sweeps”
•  no failures

Reward

•  Academic certificate
•  Renaissance reception
